How Many Avatars Can Sit on an Umbrella?
That was the question the other night at AM Radio’s new art installation at University of Kentucky — Beneath the Tree That Died.
First thing is, you get surrounded by my favorite thing in the whole world! Yes, dragonflies. Dragonflies are my favorite thing in the whole world. (In RL I have one tattooed in a place we won’t mention here.) So, we were off to a good start.
A bunch of us were standing around when I decided to sit on things. (Wizzy likes to sit on stuff.) First I sat on the curb.
Then I got bored with that so I sat on this umbrella that was laying there.
Before you know it, the umbrella (which was physical) tipped over and i ended up head over heels with my nose in the dirt and everyone laffing at me.
So then everyone decided to sit on this umbrella that was floating over the road. At first there were only a few of us sitting on the umbrella. And then the idea seemed to catch on.
Before long we had enough for a coven (thirteen).
Maxing out the umbrella at fifteen avatars, I wondered out loud if we had documented a world record. I tried to get AM Radio to turn the umbrella physical, but instead he took us on a quick flight up to 3,000 meters.
Check out AM Radio’s “Beneath the Tree that Died.” It’s brill.

This reminds me of the old days. That night was a typical night of how we all used to play. Always something silly, creative, or funny going on….
